- Brief summary
2. Audience description: Who is your audience?
Who are you trying to impactI’m trying to impact my local community and make people feel more comfortable in/out of school. It’s supposed to feel like a safe inclusive place and people should be able to make it feel like that
3. Who are you pitching the proposal to? (i.e. who is the decision-maker)
I’m bringing this idea to the Animas community. Teachers, students, parents, faculty members. Let the word be spread throughout the school community and make this a more inclusive place.
Written description of proposal
Let’s start a club to train students to speak in more appropriate manners around people who are different than them and make those people feel included. Don’t talk down to the opposite gender, don’t say “you people”, don’t say “you’re a gem to your race” or phrases anywhere in between or near these examples. It’s something most people do without realizing it and we should be making a solution to this problem.
